Having already etched her name across the WNBA record book, Atlanta Dream center Tina Charles became the league’s all-time leading rebounder Thursday night against the New York Liberty. Charles entered Thursday’s regular-season finale needing just two rebounds to tie Sylvia Fowles for first all-time.

The Atlanta Dream were minutes away from being eliminated from playoff contention just a few days ago, but they have now clinched the No. 8 seed with a 78-67 win over the New York Liberty in the regular-season finale on Thursday night.
