The young guard may only be playing in the South Bay Lakers' home games this season instead of traveling on the road with the team like a normal G League player.

ESPN's Brian Windhorst feels the Lakers' plan for Bronny James to move between the G League and the NBA is "detrimental" for James.

The Lakers recalled Bronny, Maxwell Lewis and Jalen Hood-Schifino to their roster from South Bay for their clash against the Raptors. It’s highly unlikely any of them see playing time unless the game turns into a blowout by the time the fourth quarter rolls around.
