Louisville football capitalized in key moments as Jeff Brohm & Co. beat Georgia Tech to begin ACC play with a win ahead of their game at Notre Dame.

A fumble returned for a touchdown, a blocked field goal returned for a touchdown, multiple 4th downs not being converted, and a running into the kicker penalty on a 4th down near the end of the game prevented Georgia Tech to be 6-0 under Brent Key against ranked ACC teams.

Ja’Corey Brooks’ 57-yard touchdown reception provided the go-ahead score late in the third quarter, Tayon Holloway followed by blocking a field goal he returned 45 yards for an insurance TD and No. 19 Louisville scored from all phases to beat Georgia Tech 31-19 in its ACC opener on Saturday.
