Hahei is amazing. Very chill and quiet in the the winter. A lil cray with crowds in the summer. Be aware the walk to Cathedral Cove is still closed. Boat rides $80pp. Supposed to be fixed by summer. Full review by mebeekiwi

Hi. Yes the road's are very winding and my 4 year old grandson was sick. I would suggest medication to control and regular stops on route.

Hi, there is no charge to visit Cathedral cove itself. You may have to pay to park in the car park and then either pay for a bus to the top of the hill where the trail starts or you can hike to the top as we did. It is definitely worth a visit awesome scenery and wildlife!
